Although the Ecological Society of America conference has gone virtual this year, we’d still love for you to “stop by the UC Press booth” and meet with us virtually. Editor Stacy Eisenstark is taking brief Zoom appointments the week of August 17.

Stacy Eisenstark, Editor
Environmental Studies

“The environmental problems we face will not be solved by one disciplinary approach, so I’m particularly interested in projects that are in conversation with multiple disciplines to find creative, equitable, and practical solutions to these global issues.

I acquire books in environmental studies from a range of disciplines including ecology and conservation science. I’m always looking for innovative work that speaks to scholars, students, and general interest readers with an emphasis on topics such as sustainability, environmental justice, marine and coastal ecology, climate science, science communication, and natural history. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with a pitch if you’re working in these areas.”
