To celebrate the completion of the Autobiography of Mark Twain (Volume 3 officially publishes today), we will be revisiting and exploring for the first time many of the incredible stories around this landmark event. From what led him to set a 100 year embargo on its publication (and addressing one portion “To the Unborn Reader.”), to what it meant for a university press to sell half a million copies, get ready for tales ranging from the scandalous to the heart-warming.

To kick it off, this video presents a lively series of interviews introducing viewers to the work that went on behind the scenes in the production of the Autobiography of Mark Twain.
