Legacy Society (Planned Gifts)

The Legacy Society includes individuals who name UC Press as a beneficiary in their wills or trusts or who fashion life income instruments that benefit both UC Press and the donor. By working with your financial advisor, you can develop a long-term gift plan that best reflects your financial situation and personal commitments. Planned Givers represent the highest level of support to UC Press and receive special benefits and invitations to exclusive events.

How to Use Your Membership Discount to Purchase Books

When you become a member at the Friend ($100) level or above, you receive a Discount Code for the membership discount that matches your contribution level. Please keep this code in a handy spot. You may use it to receive your membership discount when placing book orders on the UC Press web site or by calling (800) 777-4726. For online orders, you must enter the code in the box marked "Discount Code" at the bottom of your shopping cart in order to receive your discount. For phone orders, be sure to provide the code to the customer service representative. If you've misplaced your code, call the membership desk at 510-642-9828.
