Casa Milˆ (La Pedrera), Barcelona by Gaud’ is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sheer audacity of its rippling and flowing faade, its shimmering mosaic and tortuous metal balconies, all reminiscent of foaming waves and storm-tossed sea, are truly breathtaking, even today. The undulating roof terrace, resting on a group of parabolic brick arches is surmounted by surreal chimneys with mask-like tops.
