Based on Santiago Calatrava's concept of a kneeling figure making an offering, the Montju•c Communications Tower was designed, in association with Arata Isozaki, for the 1992 Olympic Games. Its dynamic springing form has become a symbol of the progressive and artistic culture of Barcelona.
