We’re pleased to announce that Alison Mudditt, Director of University of California Press, has been brought on by the Scholarly Kitchen to be an ongoing, regular contributor to their blog.

Having curated posts and guest blogged for their site with frequency in the recent past, the Society for Scholarly Publishing (overseers of the blog, whose focus is ‘what’s hot and cooking in scholarly publishing’) have now officially granted Alison Scholarly Kitchen “Chef” status.

Here’s the American Association of University Presses‘ email release detailing how Alison will be contributing to the Scholarly Kitchen going forward:

“SSP’s blog is one of the most active and widely read in the academic publishing/scholarly communications world, and we’re fortunate to have Alison’s voice there. She will be posting her own pieces, but also continuing to commission posts on topics of interest to the UP community, such as today’s post from Patrick Alexander (Penn State University Press) and Julia Kostova (Oxford University Press).

A hearty congratulations Alison!
