Attention Southern California: Make sure you get to the Hammer Museum on Tuesday, February 8 at 7:00 p.m. for a one-of-a-kind celebration of the Autobiography of Mark Twain. Scholar and editor of the Mark Twain Project Robert Hirst will discuss Twain’s life and work, followed by a panel discussion with legendary performer Hal Holbrook, moderated by David Kipen. The free event is co-presented with UC Press and PEN Center USA. It’s almost enough to make us wish we lived in L.A.! (Just kidding, people.)
Mark Twain is, and always has been, one of my favorite authors. Nobody can tell a story like that man!
